St Michael's hold off late rally

St Michael's, Enniskillen booked their place in the semi-final thanks to a narrow win over St Macartan's in a classic game of two halves in Dunmoyle.

They led by 1-6 to 0-1 at the break with Ryan Hyde getting their goal and Richard Donnelly and Sean Quigley helping themselves to two points apiece.

Things looked all but over at that stage, but the Monaghan lads had other ideas and produced a stirring second-half fightback.

Points from Shane Carey and a Mel Boyce goal gave them real hope but their heroic efforts came up just short in a thrilling finish.
