Rea downs London
Derek Hayden's first outing against his home county ended in defeat as a late flurry got Carlow back to winning ways at Ruislip.
Hayden's introduction from the bench fired up the visitors, who dished out a few hefty challenges to their former team-mate. Carlow were lucky to go in level at the interval at 0-5 apiece, with the Exiles denied a clear penalty.
However, the Barrowsiders found their feet late on, Simon Rea hitting two points to win it. London had started strongly, with Killian Phair converting two quick frees.
Carlow then went ahead before a sublime score from Noel Tuohy levelled, but unforced errors cost London.
