O'Shea shines for 'Sem'

Holders St Brendan's College, Killarney, advanced to the semi-finals with a comfortable victory over Killorglin in Listry.

'The Sem' dominated the opening half after Tom Moriarty burst through for a brilliant goal and went in at the break 1-9 to 0-4 ahead.

Killorglin did rally in the second half, with Jack O'Connor and Fergal Hallissey doing well in the middle. It was O'Connor who got Killorglin's goal to leave just four points between the sides.

However, three quick-fire points from Bryan O'Shea widened the margin and it was all but done and dusted when Conor Keane set up Padraig Nagle for the Sem's second goal to put them back in control and they eased into the final whistle, with O'Shea finishing the scoring.
