O'Keeffe kicks lilies into final

Leaving Cert student Emmet O'Keeffe kicked the winning point as Kildare came from seven points down at half-time to beat Meath and snatch a place in the Leinster JFC final at St Conleth's Park last night.

Having played in the opening two rounds, Dermot Earley played no part in last night's thriller. The Royals led by 0-8 to 0-1 at the break but had no answer to Kildare's second-half blitz.
