O Lionain leads way
It was business as usual for Waterford, who stayed at the top of the table thanks to a big win over Kilkenny in Freshford on Saturday.
Kilkenny were outclassed and looked to be in real trouble after just 15 minutes, at which stage Waterford were well clear, Liam O Lionain hitting the net to lead 1-7 to 0-0.
The hosts did raise their game after that. Centre-forward Paddy Raftice opened their account with a point, before Stephen Duggan found the net.
Waterford hit back to lead by 1-12 to 1-1 at half-time. That run continued into the second half, as they outscored their hosts by 12 points to one.
