Tir Chonaill Gaels 1-15 KK Gaels 1-8 LONDON SFC FINAL

Tir Chonaill Gaels marked their 50th anniversary with a record 14th senior championship title at the expense of 14-man Kingdom Kerry Gaels at Ruislip.

The Greenford-based side hit five early points and were in complete control when former Donegal forward Kevin McMenamin netted on 17 minutes.

Kingdom Kerry Gaels' task became even harder when Kevin Waldron was given a straight red on the stroke of half-time. Under the guidance of former Kilmacud Crokes manager Paddy Carr, TCG led by 1-6 to 0-2 at half-time and eight unanswered points after the break had them cruising.

KKG did fire 1-5 without reply in the closing stages, Peter Atkinson with the goal, but TCG were easy winners.
