Fantasy slip-up for O'Rourke ahead of Transfer Window
Colm O'Rourke lost further ground last week in the Sunday Independent Fantasy Gaelic league slipping down the table into seventeenth spot.
He was relying heavily on his Dublin representatives in the Leinster final against his native county Meath with Stephen Cluxton earning him 28 points and James McCarthy adding a further eight to give him a total of 36 for his efforts last week.
Meanwhile, Eamonn O'Hara was also in the same boat he finished the week with just 14 points thanks to Bernard Brogan and Diarmuid Connolly.
The former Sligo footballer is now in 52nd place on 300 points, 91 off the leader. The Fielder put in one of his best performances last week; his haul of 46 points sent him up the table into 84th spot.
Selecting Mickey Newman was the key to his big score – the Meath forward finished the week with 21 points.
This puts him in a decent position for Wednesday when the Transfer Window opens and unlimited substitutions can be made until August 2.
In the experts' league, Wexford's Graeme Molloy has knocked Ronan Sweeney of Kildare off the top spot. Sweeney was also overtaken by Down's Dan Gordon and now finds himself relegated to third spot.
