Earley on target for Kildare


Kildare could afford the luxury of hitting 14 wides as they strolled to a routine 13-point victory over Kilkenny at St Conleth's Park to book a spot in the semi-finals.

Dermot Hanafin weighed in with four points, while Dermot Earley, Cathal McNally and Gareth Duffy all chipped over points to ensure the Lilywhites kept the defence of their title on track.
