Cunningham on hand to save Clare
Limerick 1-15 Clare 0-18
(After double extra-time)
NOT even a double dollop of extra-time could separate Limerick and Clare at Sixmilebridge on Saturday night.
At the end of 70 minutes, the sides were even, with Clare on 13 points to Limerick's 1-10, after Declan Hannon blasted a penalty on 58 minutes.
At the end of extra-time, the scores were again level, 0-17 to 1-14. It was agreed to play a further two periods of five minutes each. Limerick midfielder Conor Allis fired over a point to give his side the lead for the first time but Clare's Aaron Cunningham landed a free to level matters and force a replay.
