Carlow stay on song

CARLOW kept their good run going with a 12-point win over the Exiles at Dr Cullen Park.

Luke Dempsey's men quickly established their domination, with midfielders Darragh Foley and Thomas Walsh providing a good supply to the forwards.

Foley pointed two frees as Carlow went four points clear after 14 minutes. The visitors responded with two points, but Carlow stormed 0-10 to 0-2 ahead, before Liam Gavaghan shot a superb goal as London trailed 0-11 to 1-2 at the break.

Three quick points from Brian Murphy (free), Sean Gannon and Aidan Murphy stretched Carlow's lead further Substitute Cormac Mullins put the matter to bed when scoring a neat goal to make it 1-16 to 1-2 by the 51st minute.
