Cadogan to face down

Cork's footballers have won the battle for dual star Eoin Cadogan this weekend as he'll line out at full-back in their All-Ireland final rematch with Down in Pairc Ui Chaoimh tomorrow, writes Cliona Foley.

He lined out for the hurlers last week but Eoin Dillon replaces him at full-back for Denis Walsh's side, who have made two other changes for their trip to Dungarvan on Sunday.

Brian Murphy replaces Ray Ryan at wing-back and Lorcan McLoughlin replaces Jerry O'Connor in midfield.

Down's footballers are expected to be without two of their All Stars in goalkeeper Brendan McVeigh (knee) and Benny Coulter (hamstring).

Tipperary's hurlers make three changes for their Offaly clash, giving Eddie Connolly a league debut at corner-back in place of Paddy Stapleton, while Eoin Kelly and Benny Dunne replace Shane McGrath and Brian O'Meara.

Dublin's unbeaten hurlers could be without Conal Keaney and David O'Callaghan for their trip to Wexford due to 'flu.
