Bradley leads Red Hand fightback

Tyrone hit four stunning goals to secure a remarkable win in a superb quarter-final at the Athletic Grounds.

The Orchard lads were in cruise control in the first half, shooting points at will, with Ciaran O'Hanlon the chief tormentor with five fine strikes.

But Tyrone somehow wrested control and the heroic Mark Bradley hit a 2-7 total to set up a last-four clash with Derry.

Armagh, with Ethan Rafferty and Niall Grimley lording the midfield battle, cut swathes through the Tyrone defence in a dominant first-half display.

O'Hanlon steered over five superb scores from play, with two each coming from Rafferty, Callum Cumiskey and Grimley.

Tyrone fell seven points behind but a Sean Hackett goal gave them a lifeline, then Bradley hit four points before firing in a 31st-minute goal to bring them level.

Armagh were 0-13 to 2-5 ahead at the break, although Tyrone levelled soon after with two from James McGahan and took the lead in the 53rd minute when Hackett off-loaded for McGahan to blast home their third goal.

Armagh then levelled but were stunned when Bradley burst through for his second goal with a sublime finish.
