Armagh and Derry share the spoils at Celtic Park
ARMAGH and Derry had to make due with a share of the spoils after a hugely enjoyable 0-16 to 0-16 at Celtic Park.
Armagh made an encouraging start and raced into four point lead with Kevin Dyas and Gavin McPartland contributing scores.
Derry fired back with Charlie Kielt, Lee Kennedy, Emmett McGuckan and James Kielt levelling matters before Aaron Kernan's free put the Orchard men back in front.
James Kielt added two further points as Derry regained the lead in front of their home fans and they led 0-7 to 0-6 at the interval.
Aaron Kernan and Stefan Forker gave Armagh a strong beginning to the second half and the lead before James Kielt scored again to leave a point between the teams.
Declan McKenna and Forker added points soon afterwards to put Armagh 0-12 to 0-8 to the good.

Substitute Anto Duffy slotted a point as Armagh looked to reassert their early dominance but Lee Kennedy levelled things before Enda Lynn put them in front but Jamie Clarke's free levelled things yet again.
James Kielt and Jamie Clarke traded scores as things became very tense in Celtic Park as the final whistle went and the sides shared the spoils.
