Down defeat 13-man Meath to make Christy Ring decider
Kerry will face Down in next week's Christy Ring Cup final after the Mourne-men beat Meath by 0-23 to 1-10 at Ballycran.
Down led by 0-12 to 1-6 at half-time, Mark O'Sullivan providing the goal for the Royals, but took control in the third quarter of the game with Paul Braniff their scorer-in-chief.
Six unanswered points in the early stages of the second half created a cushion for Down that they never relinquished.
Meath finished the game with 13-men after Cormac Reilly and Sean Heavey were both given second yellow cards in the closing stages.
Down full-back Paudie Flynn also received his marching orders for a second bookable offence in the closing minutes.
