Connacht quartet return from injury for Zebre clash
Connacht boss Pat Lam has been handed a major shot in the arm with the news that his squad will be bolstered by the return of four key players for this weekend's Heineken Cup clash at the Sportsgrounds.
Craig Ronaldson and flanker Jake Heenan return to the fold for the westerners. The youthful duo missed out on the back-to-back festive derby period due to injury but the coaching staff are optimistic that both will be involved in games this weekend.
Meanwhile, backs Gavin Duffy and Frank Murphy also returned to training and are available for selection this week.
There was also good news for Craig Clarke who suffered no ill-effects from the neck injury he sustained during the 16-8 defeat to Leinster last weekend.
Outhalf Miah Nikora, who has been working hard in rehab since the pre-season, has returned to training and is on track to be playing rugby in four weeks’ time.
