Cavan surge late to pip Tipp to intermediate title
Cavan made up for their defeat in the 2011 decider by striking late to edge Tipperary by 1-14 to 1-12 in the All-Ireland Ladies Football Intermediate final at Croke Park.
Bronagh Sheridan's successful penalty with six minutes remaining was enough for the Breffni women to edge this enthralling encounter.
