Amtrim warmed up for next week's Leinster quarter-final with Wexford with a stirring comeback victory over Laois in Portlaoise on a scoreline of 0-22 to 0-20.

Both these teams have already qualified for the Leinster quarter-finals but this game decided who plays who in the last eight.

Thanks to a superb comeback from the Saffrons in Portlaoise, and they will face Wexford in the Leinster quarter-finals. Laois will take on Galway.

Laois made the better start and led by 0-6 to 0-3 after 20 minutes with Willy Hyland to the fore for the home side.

Stephen 'Picky' Maher and Will Hyland had five points each by half time as Laois led by 0-12 to 0-8 at the break.

Antrim fired over six points without reply at the restart and suddenly the Ulstermen led by two points.

Antrim extended their lead to four points before Laois were awarded a penalty with seven minutes to go but goalkeeper Eoin O'Reilly saw his effort saved.

Two points from Picky Maher and a score from Ross King made it a one-point game with just minutes to play but Antrim got an insurance score and they held on for victory.
