Kreativ Dental Clinic has been providing quality dental care and treatments for the last 17 years. These treatments include implants, root canals, and full porcelain crowns, along with many other treatments, by experienced oral surgeons and dental specialists. The clinic will speak to you in detail about the exact treatment you need and provide a full written breakdown of costs. There is no pressure put on you to decide whether to go through with the treatment or not – it’s entirely up to you what to do. Some people decide to book their treatment there and then, and stay for extra days. Others may decide to go home and think about it.

Prices to smile about

Today, more and more people are choosing to go abroad for dental care. In 2017, approximately 3,000 patients from Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK, as well as patients worldwide, travelled over to Kreativ Dental Clinic in Budapest. Their goal - to achieve a healthy smile. One of the main reasons for this is because you can often get treatment abroad for a snip of the price you’d pay here in Ireland. At Kreativ Dental Clinic, you can make savings of approximately 60pc. And, consultations are free.

Irish representative for the clinic and past patient, Mary Flanagan, says, “Over the space of 10 years, I had root canal treatments, crowns fitted which later fell out, and eight teeth extracted in Ireland, due to failure of my root canals. I was told by an Irish dentist that my only option was dentures and another told me getting work done would cost up to €60,000.

“I had so many problems with dentists over the years, but I was then advised to visit Kreativ Dental by a retired Irish dentist. I ended up having eight implants and 26 porcelain crowns fitted at the much lower price-tag of €12,000, plus €400 for my flights.”

First impressions count

Kreativ Dental Clinic aims to create a relaxing atmosphere for patients, particularly for those who may have a fear of dentists. The main reception floor has a large, circular aquarium in the middle and surrounding this are single couches which have tablet computers to keep waiting patients occupied. On the top floor, there is the Sky Café, where patients can relax and view the scenery of the local area below.

Model and TV presenter, Claire Tracey says of her experience at the clinic: “When I arrived at Kreativ Dental, I felt my initial nerves and fear of dentists disappear. The clinic is like a hotel and the staff were so welcoming and lovely. They carried out an OPG x-ray, which was examined by the team of specialists, and gave me a treatment plan. There was no pain whatsoever throughout the treatment and I actually found that once one procedure was done, I was trying to find some other reason to go back to Kreativ Dental and Budapest!”

Kreativ Dental can make another type of good impression on your life – that of enhancing your confidence. When someone is happy with their teeth, they’ll smile more and appear more positive and self-assured to others. Some studies have even shown that having a great smile can increase productivity and encourage trust. And, the importance of your smile goes beyond vanity and image. It can also improve overall health.

Mary Flanagan can relate to this, “My teeth really affected my confidence. I used to speak to people with my hand covering my mouth and I was unable to chew certain foods, which meant my nutrition wasn’t the best.

“When I was advised to visit Kreativ Dental Clinic, I was apprehensive before making the journey to Budapest. But, I can now say that I’m so glad I did. It was absolutely brilliant. I finally got my confidence back and I couldn’t be happier with my teeth. I have also returned to a good healthy, stable diet.”

Break away

A trip over to the clinic can also be treated as an unexpected, but rewarding, city break. It is a perfect excuse to see Budapest. After your visit to Kreativ Dental, you can relax at the Széchenyi Baths, see the beautiful Art Nouveau architecture, and visit well-known sights such as the Hungarian Parliament Building, Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion. The ÁRKÁD Budapest Shopping Centre can also easily be reached by bus from Kreativ Dental.

The future is bright

Since the inception of Kreativ Dental, a second clinic called Kreativ Dental 2 opened its doors beside the first clinic to help manage the high demand from patients. Today, plans are well underway for the construction of a third clinic, which will also be located beside the other clinics.

As well as reassuring patients, especially nervous patients as Mary once was herself, Mary’s role as Irish representative is to advise clients on when and how to secure the best value flights to Budapest.

“I help to organise free airport transfers, as well as booking the clinic appointments and hotel accommodation. You can arrange your own flights for whenever suits you best, however I will be accompanying patients on a trip on Sunday 15th April.

“I would recommend you book at least two months beforehand, as these trips do fill up quickly. And, the sooner flights are booked, the less expensive it will be.”

So, if you want to book a consultation to find out whether you’ll need dental treatment and what kind, contact Mary and she will organise everything.

Mary adds, “By travelling to Budapest, not only will you have time to explore a wonderful city, but you’ll also return with a healthy new smile and the ability to chew your favourite foods again.”
