A resolution to smile about
It’s time to feel confident with your smile. For beautiful, healthy teeth, visit Kreativ Dental Clinic in Budapest.
New year goals are most often related to health and fitness, getting our bodies into shape and eating healthier foods. But, did you know that to have a properly functioning diet, it is important to keep your teeth in shape too?
Before she became the Irish representative for Kreativ Dental Clinic in Budapest, Mary Flanagan was experiencing many problems with her teeth. One of such being the inability to chew certain foods due to pain.
“Over the space of 10 years, I had root canal treatments, crowns fitted which later fell out and eight teeth extracted in Ireland, due to failure of my root canals,” says Mary. “My teeth really affected my confidence. I used to speak to people with my hand covering my mouth and I was unable to chew certain foods, which meant my nutrition wasn’t the best.
“I was told by an Irish dentist that my only option was dentures and another told me getting work done would cost up to €60,000. But, then I was advised to visit Kreativ Dental Clinic by a retired Irish dentist. I was apprehensive before making the journey to Budapest – but I can now say that I’m so glad I did.”
Mary ended up having eight implants and 26 porcelain crowns fitted at the much lower price-tag of €12,000, plus €400 for her flights.
“It was absolutely brilliant. I finally got my confidence back and I couldn’t be happier with my teeth. I have also returned to a good healthy, stable diet. Many people who call us tell us they can’t eat, so when I say that I was in the same position, they can identify with this.”
At Kreativ Dental Clinic, you can make savings of approximately 60 per cent, as well as claiming tax back. A comprehensive consultation and OPG x-ray is free and Kreativ Dental offers a written guarantee on all work. Aftercare is also provided back in Ireland.
The clinic was recently announced the winner of the ‘International Dental Clinic of the Year 2017 – Europe’ at the GHP Private Healthcare Awards and has been providing quality dental care and treatments for the last 17 years. These treatments include implants, root canals, and full porcelain crowns, along with many other treatments, by experienced oral surgeons and dental specialists.
Last year, approximately 3,000 patients from Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK, as well as patients worldwide, travelled over to Kreativ Dental in Budapest to achieve a healthy smile. Since the inception of Kreativ Dental Clinic, a second clinic called Kreativ Dental 2 opened its doors nearby to help manage the high demand from patients. Today, plans are well underway for the construction of a third clinic, which will also be located beside the other clinics.
For many people, searching for and visiting dental clinics can be daunting. However, Kreativ Dental clinics have a calm and relaxing atmosphere. There are fish tanks, comfy chairs and computer tablets to keep patients occupied and at ease while waiting. Irish celebrities such as model Claire Tracey, TV presenter Tina Koumarianos and snooker player Ken Doherty have also visited in the past.
A trip over to the clinic can also be treated as an unexpected, but rewarding, city break. If travelling more is another one of your goals for 2018, then it’s a perfect excuse to see Budapest. After your visit to Kreativ Dental, you can explore the city, which is just a 26-minute drive away. Relax at the Széchenyi Baths, see the beautiful Art Nouveau architecture, and take photos of impressive sights such as the Hungarian Parliament Building, Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion. The ÁRKÁD Budapest Shopping Centre can also easily be reached by bus from Kreativ Dental.
As well as helping to calm patients’ nerves, Mary’s role as Irish representative is to advise clients on when and how to secure the best value flights to Budapest.
“I help to organise free airport transfers, as well as booking the clinic appointments and hotel accommodation. You can arrange your own flights for whenever suits you best, however I will be accompanying patients on trips on Sunday, 18th February and Sunday 25th March. The sooner flights are booked, the less expensive it will be.
“If you are considering booking for any month, I would recommend you book at least two months beforehand, as these trips do fill up quickly.”
So, why not make that New Year’s resolution to keep on top of your dental health (and to travel more) today, and book a trip to Budapest?
“Not only will you have time to explore a wonderful city, but you’ll also return with a healthy new smile and the ability to chew your favourite foods again,” says Mary.
