Eilis O'Hanlon: 'Be careful what you say in war of words'
Whether there should be exclusion zones around abortion clinics in order to keep out pro-life protesters is a matter for the Dail to decide in the coming months. Last week it was reported that Garda Commissioner Drew Harris has written to the Health Minister to state that existing legislation is adequate to deal with the small peaceful gatherings which have sprung up since abortion became legal in Ireland at the start of the year. He also stressed that no threatening or abusive behaviour has occurred at any of the protests.
