All aboard... Ireland's new luxury sleeper train

Travel bucket lists are good for the soul. They're the perfect excuse for daydreaming on dull days and the good times come when you get to actually tick things off. I did that in style with a massive swoosh when I recently spent two days and nights onboard the Belmond Grand Hibernian. It's Ireland's first luxury sleeper train and has sparked lots of interest, not least because of the eye-watering prices. It cost €3,100 per person sharing for two nights onboard its 'Taste of Ireland' package in April which plied its way between Dublin, Belfast, Waterford and back to Dublin.

Sinead Kissane: 'Rebuilt Mayo ladies defy the odds on journey from strife to semi-final'

On April 13, the Mayo Ladies Gaelic Football Association posted a tweet on social media announcing their new "we are 1 campaign". It had been a fractious 2018 so maybe the county board wanted to retool a sense of unity. "Every Saturday our senior ladies and their management team will visit a different club to train. Thanks to @MoyDavittsLadys for getting the ball rolling and hosting us this morning #Mayois1club #togetherstronger".
