Laois man takes over as Wicklow ladies boss
Wicklow LGFA County Board have announced their new Intermediate football manager for 2019 to replace Mick O'Rourke.
Laois native James Kelly is the man to take the reins for 2019 and he will be joined by selectors Emer Miley and Mick Kavanagh while Shay Dunne will lend his considerable talents to the strength and conditioning aspect of the players.
Kelly has extensive experience having completed a variety of GAA coaching standards and training through his work as a GDA coach with Laois GAA over a number of years.
He has also coached the Laois All-Ireland Minor 'B' winning squad in 2013 and more recently managed the ladies teams at Park Rathineska and Ballyroan together with a successful period as manager of the Leinster championship winning schools side at Heywood at under 14 and under 16 level.
