Goals by Ger Byrne and Joe Gaffney and points by Conor Davis and Brendan Kennedy sent them on their way.Half-time score - An Tochar 2-9, Stratford-Grangecon 0-3.
The Slaneysiders lifted their game in the second-half and outscored the opposition but could never get through for the goals they needed.
Stratford-Grangecon were again hard pressed for numbers after losing up to eight of their strong players this year. They now face a shoot-out against Arklow Geraldines/Ballymoney in a match that will decide who makes the drop to the Intermediate grade next year.
