Nightmare in Carlow after Glynn's exit
A game that was shaping up to be a very decent contest was ruined beyond all recognition at the end of the first quarter when, first, Wicklow full-back Stephen Kelly twisted something in his back and had to retire, and, second, a split second reaction from Leighton Glynn to some reckless tackling from a Carlow man resulted in a hyper-sensitive red card from Tipperary referee Fergal Horgan.
