Tom Kennedy Memorial Show

The Garden of Ireland Vintage Car Club will host The Tom Kennedy Memorial Vintage and Classic Car Show on Sunday, July 14, at the Kilmacanogue GAA grounds starting at noon.

This is an excellent venue which is situated right under The Great Sugarloaf Mountain and is surrounded by many beautiful views of the Wicklow Mountains.

Now in its sixth year, this event has become extremely popular and draws vintage enthusiasts from near and far. All vehicles of any shapes and sizes are welcome whether they be on two or four wheels. Refreshments will be available in the clubhouse throughout the day. The club would like to thank the Kilmacanogue GAA Club which kindly offered the use of its facilities free of charge for the day.

A number of others are giving their services free of charge, including MC Brian Nolan, Terry Brennan of Chatham Design, Eddie and Maura Byrne of Absolute Print, and musicians Mick Brennan, Mildred Fox and Christian Hind, as well as Nicola Lawlor of Doggywood Grooming who is organising the dog show, and the lady members of the club who will look after the peckish on the day. Admission is by donation with all money raised being donated to St Ann's Oncology Ward, St Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin.
