A talentedMollymae Sherry from Rathnew. young dancer from Rathnew selected the local Senior Citizens Group to donate €100 towards.

Mollymae Sherry placed second in the U-12 juvenile solo Latin and Ballroom Dances at the World Dance Championship held in Paris in December.

Mollymae carried out a lot of fundraising prior to the trip to cover costs and passes on her thanks to everyone who so generously supported her.

She still had €100 left over and decided to donate it to the Rathnew Senior Citizens Group.

2017 proved to be an exceptionally busy year for her. She travelled over to Russia with Alex and Elaine Bonici of Wicklow Latin Dance for one week of training at a dace school, followed by another week long trip to China to dance, also accompanied by Alex and Elaine.

She was asked to make an appearance on Little Big Stars in the Netherlands and had great fun doing so. She also took part in Britain's Got Talent.

At the moment Mollymae is involved in a dance partnership with Max Draper from the UK.

She trains extremely hard during the week at Wicklow Latin Dance studios in Rathnew with her teacher Brian Redmomd from Dancing with the Stars.

Then each weekend she flies over to the UK to train with Max, returning home on Midnight on Sunday so she will make it to school for Monday morning.

Mollymae passes on her gratitude to Alex and Elaine for their continued support. She also offers her thanks to her sponsors Pure Class and Supadance for supplying her stunning dresses and shoes. Mollymae already has some big plans for 2018.
