Arklow RNLI Fundraising Branch has a new committee and is seeking volunteers to come on board and support their work.

The new committee was elected at the recent AGM and is now chaired by Maurice Leahy, following the retirement of long-serving chair Michael Mordaunt.

Maurice is joined by vice chairperson Tommy Annesley, secretary Majella Myler, treasurer Tony Fennell, assistant treasurer Tommy Nolan and committee members Bev Nicholson, James Tyrrell, Bebe Redmond, Paul Burke, Cassie Doyle and Sean Og Conaghan.

Also elected was the Maritime Festival committee: chairman/coordinator Maurice Leahy, Michael Mordaunt, Tommy Annesley, Joy Crosbie, Mark Corcoran and Jimmy Myler.

Anyone who can spare an hour or two to help with fundraising activities will receive a warm welcome.

They will meet new people, learn new skills and have lots of fun along the way.

Contact any committee member or visit the Lifeboat Station for further information.
