Next year is set to be an exciting one for Arklow Music Festival as the 50th annual event is to take place.

The 2019 Arklow Music Festival was officially launched on Friday evening at the Arklow Bay Hotel, which is this year's main event sponsor.

The 50th Anniversary Syllabus was unveiled in the presence of hotel representatives, the new festival website developer, current and past committee members and previous competitors.

A major development for the coming year is that for the first time ever, Arklow Music Festival has gone live online which has all the festival details. To this end a new website designed by GR8 Events is now up and running at www.arklowmusicfestival.com which is a one stop shop for all potential competitors, where they can view all competitions, see the test pieces and register for competitions.

All the usual categories will be open to competitors in solo and group sections.

Arklow Music Festival is one of the biggest competitive music events in the country and draws thousands of visitors to the town every spring showcasing a wealth of talent from every county in Ireland.

The Festival committee would like to thank all of the competitors, and encourage all those interested in taking part to take the plunge and join them for the 50th Anniversary.
