A mental health and wellbeing coffee morning was recently held in the Newcastle Community Hall to promote the work of GROW, a mental health organisation to provide people with information and networking space.

The event featured short presentations from GROW and other organisations about their work and role within local communities in the county.

Speakers on the day included the Arklow branch of the Samaritans, Mental Health Engagement-Wicklow Forum, the Wicklow Addiction Team, the NLN Link Arklow, the Cairdeas Clubhouse EVE, Bray and Wicklow Libraries.

There are GROW peer support groups in Arklow, Bray and Wicklow town. For more, grow.ie.
