WICKLOW RNLI lifeboat came to the aid of two jet skiers on Thursday afternoon at Wicklow Harbour.
One of the jet skis became submerged in the water and its rider had to board the other jet ski. However, that ended up suffering engine trouble, leaving both men stranded.
The lifeboat was launched at 4.15 p.m. and the two men were located on a drifting jet ski. The second jet ski was nearby submerged just below the surface and flooded.
A passing fisherman lent a helping hand and transported one of the jet skis and its rider back to the harbour.
Both men were uninjured and were safely brought back to Wicklow Harbour.
