Hit US series Into the Badlands is returning to Co Wicklow for filming later this year and the call has gone out for thousands of extras to take part in the show.

Filming of the third series will get under way this autumn so anyone hoping to take part must be available over the next few months.

According to movieextras.ie, they are particularly looking for male and female Asian, Black and Latino/Hispanic adults for a number of roles in the series.

They are also looking for men and women trained in dance, martial arts, gymnastics and stunt work for battle scenes. Those cast in these roles will take part in a rehearsal day with the show's stunt team, including Rudolf Vrba, who has worked on blockbusters like James Bond, Captain America, Kick Ass and Wonder Woman.

Filming is due to take place in Dublin and Wicklow from September until April and extras could have up to five days on set per month. The pay range varies from €83 to €130 per day.

Days on set could begin as early as 6 a.m. and last ten hours or more, with overtime paid after ten hours.
