Black Castle Drinks are relying on votes from YOU - the public - in order to win a stand at the Taste of Dublin taking place in the stunning Iveagh Gardens from June 16 to June 19.

Established by Riva O'Malley and John McGee of Wicklow town, Black Castle Drinks produce a Fiery Ginger Beer, a Spiced Red Lemonade and a Berry Bramble Sting.

They are down to the last five start up food businesses vying to collect the most public votes, out of over 200 entries. A stand at Taste of Dublin is estimated to be worth in the region of €5,000.

'We are the only Wicklow business in the competition and as a small business it would be an amazing opportunity for us to be able to give festival goers an alternative to alcohol and get Black Castle Drinks name out to a wider audience,' says Riva.

The voting deadline actually ends today, Wednesday, April 27, at midnight so the public only have a short space of time to lend their support to Riva and John.

Voting won't take up any longer than a minute of your time. To find the link to vote just google search 'Bank of Ireland Taste of Dublin Vote'.

Alternatively you can visit businessbanking.bankofireland.com/taste-of-dublin/vote/.

The winners will be announced this Friday.

All five finalists also produced a video, which can be viewed on youtube.
