Bench warrants issued at Arklow court

A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of Peter Cummins, 10 Woodlands Court, Arklow, after he failed to appear at the local court last week to face charges relating to alleged motoring offences.

Cummins is charged with having no insurance and driving licence when driving at Martin's Lane, Arklow, on July 3 this year.

Meanwhile, nother bench warrant was also issued in respect of Nicola Kavanagh, 2 St. Brigid's Terrace, Arklow, after she also failed to appear before the court at last week's sitting.

She faces charges in respect of no insurance and no driving licence when driving at Main Street on June 10 last.

Garda Sharon Hanlon is the prosecuting garda in both cases.

The warrants were issued by Judge Donnchadh OBuachalla once it became obvious that neither defendant was in court.
