Celebrations were held in BBH (Ballyguile, Broadlough, Hillview) Community Centre last Tuesday to mark the centre's tenth anniversary.

Tea, coffee and light refreshments were served, while photos and displays of past BBH projects were up on display for all to see.

There was also a great dancing display put on by some of the kids who attend BBH Community Centre, They were joined by Stephen Morley, who spent close to six years living in Wicklow when he used to carry out a lot of work with the kids. Now he is back in Wicklow on a short visit, and is teaching the kids a number of activities, including American sports.

Cllr Aoife Flynn Kennedy, Chairperson of the East Coast Regional Drugs and Alcohol Task Force, said: 'It's a wonderful community centre with fantastic activities for the young and old. The ECRDATF has had the pleasure of working with this centre for many years, and hope to do so for many more to come.'

Lauren Keogh of BBH offered her gratitude to everyone for their support over the past decade.

'Many thanks to everyone associated with the hall and for helping to put together tonight's celebrations. There are far too many people to mention, but they are the ones there all through the years, working away and giving up their time to make the hall such a success,' said Lauren.
