Support for Denim Day
People in Wicklow are being urged to support the upcoming Denim Day for Dementia in aid of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
Rugby player Dave Kearney who is an ambassador for the Alzheimer Society of Ireland (ASI) is encouraging people to take part in the campaign which takes place on Friday, March 9, to help support people living with dementia and their carers.
Now in its second year, the Denim Day for Dementia campaign is asking everyone from around Ireland to wear their denims - to crèche, primary school and secondary school or to their place of work - on the day and donate just €2 to support people living with dementia.
People can order their Denim Day for Dementia pack by registering at alzheimer.ie or by contacting the fundraising team at 01 2073816.
