Blessington Mart was the venue for a recent game of drive-in bingo.

The event was jointly organised by Dunlavin GAA and Western Gaels Hurling Club. It was hugely popular with over 100 cars playing the game. There was huge support from the local community for the afternoon's entertainment. A family friendly afternoon, the great weather helped to make this a special occasion for all those who took part.

Tomas Richardson was the mc for the day and organisers said a special thank you to him for his efforts on the day.

Organisers thanked the volunteers for all of their help on the day. Thanks were also extended to Blessington gardai, Blessington Mart and all those who turned out to support the event.

Another drive-in bingo game, organised by Dunlavin GAA and Western Gaels Hurling Club, is scheduled to take place on October 18. The jackpot of €600 must be won on the day. Organisers hope the community will come out to support this fun event which is run in compliance with Covid-19 guidelines.
