Thursday Walks

The weather really had its say on Thursday last and took it out on the walkers who took to the Ballinderry Loop. Thunder, lightning, hail and torrential rain left everyone soaking by halfway and the decision was taken to shorten the walk and return to the shelter of the cars, a decision which went down very well with the group.

Hopefully this coming week the weather will smile on us as we take to the Derrybawn Looop in Glendalough. Meet as usual in Parnell Memorial Park for 7 p.m. and Hotel car park in Glendalough for 7.20.
