Football Notes

Our second last league game against Stratford was one of those games where everyone got a run. We had more than the required number but the locals were short a few players. It was a good session in preparation for our last and deciding game against Hollywood at home next Thursday. Our players on the night were: Enda Walshe, Dean Flynn, Rory Hankin, Ronan Conron, Colm Toomey, Dean Mann, Rory Toomey, Pat Flynn, James Eager, Tommy Dwyer, Nikki Donovan, Colm O'Neill, Ed Flynn, Colm O'Neill, Ed. Flynn, Kevin Mills, Gerard O'Halloran and Bill Flynn.

On Saturday next in Aughrim, our intermediate team will play Kilcoole in the second game of the championship. This game is at 3 p.m.

There was no winner of the lotto last week. The jackpot is now worth €7,800. Last week, Amy Conroy matched three and won €200. Colm O'Neill won the seller's prize.
