Tidy Towns

Please be aware Tidy Towns judging will take place from this week onwards. Litter is the one thing which can let us down so please if you see litter while out for your walks pick it up and bin it or take it home. Don't just presume someone else will do it. All these little things help and are much appreciated by our committee. Our volunteers meet in the village every Monday evening at 6 p.m. for one hour to do odd jobs so if you can give an hour to help us out please come along.

Hall Committee

Knockananna Hall committee will hold a reconvened AGM on Wednesday, June 26, in the hall at 8 p.m.

As the hall is used by all committees in the area we are asking all clubs and organisations to have at least one member at this meeting. We have been successful with the support of the community to keep the hall open for the benefit of all. The committee are now looking at the possibility of upgrading the hall so that it continues to be available to all in the coming years. To do this we have been advised to submit an application for leader funding but we need to know we have support of the community before taking this on board.
