The club would like to thank most sincerely Paul Phelan from the Meath Arms for his generous sponsorship of a set of jerseys for our adult football team. The Phelan family have long been associated with the club and currently Patrick and Conor feature on our adult team. Congratulations to Sam Carroll, Alex Kavanagh and Dermot Twomey, who represented the club on the Wicklow schools under-14 hurling team last Thursday.
Our next outing for the adult team in Division 3 of the league is against Ashford next Saturday, March 16, at home at 4 p.m. Please come along and support the team and hopefully we will get back to winning ways.

The numbers 16, 22, 23 and 25 were drawn in this week's Aughrim Sports club lotto March 4 There was one match-three winner: Eilish Byrne. The jackpot now is €6,150.
Well done to all our badminton and chess players who travelled in the cold and snowy weather today. Congratulations to the under-15 boys and girls badminton who are the County Wicklow champions and will travel to Dublin to compete in the first round of Leinster. To our chess team first time competing you were great and lost to an experienced team. Thank you to our parents' coaches and volunteers for their support.
The County Wicklow Community Games Cross Country takes place on Sunday, March 31, in Avondale Park with registration a 10.30 a.m. and 11 a.m. start. It is for all children attending under-six to under-16.
Please let your coach and Fiona Shannon know that you are interested in entering as we need to register every child online. There is a €2 entry fee per child to be given to a coach that morning. Fiona Shannon needs to know by Friday, March 22, call her at 087 2218366.

Under six. 200m under-eights 300m under-10s 400m under-12s 600m under-13s 1200m under-14s 800m.
Under-16s 1600m then the marathon 2km is on March 31 in Avondale too.
Town and Country Market
A warm welcome to all at Aughrim Town and Country Market, Rednagh Road, every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy the buzz in the Pavilion Cafe as you catch up with friends over coffee and treats. Delicious brunches and light lunches are also on offer. Fresh local produce available, including organic fruit and vegetables, locally produced meat, eggs, preserves and fresh home baked bread and cakes. St Patrick's Day parade
Now it is time to book you place in the St Patrick's Day parade in Aughrim starting from Tinakilly Bridge at 11.15 on Sunday, March 17, The parade is open to floats, walking groups, vintage cars and vintage tractors, there are prizes for the best entries.
The theme of the parade is the Four Seasons to give a suggestion for original outfits and displays. Shop owners are encouraged to decorate their shop fronts to create festive surroundings and win the Best Shop front prize. Application forms for the parade are available from the Pharmacy, telephone 0402 36655.

Sister Ann's Mission to Haiti
Tonight Wednesday, March 13, is concert night in the Woodenbridge Hotel at 8 p.m. Tickets €10, they can be purchased on the door. Please come and support our local artists who are so generous with their time and talents. More importantly help raise funds for Sister Ann's work in Haiti for the poorest of the poor.
Ballycoog National School
All are welcome to an Easter Family Fun and open day from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, in Ballycoog National School. It's the perfect opportunity for prospective students and parents to come along to see our school Enrolment forms will be available on the day.
It's also a chance for us to enjoy some fun Easter activities with our students, their families and members of the wider community. Our newly renovated junior classroom will be open to visitors.

Meet Tinahely 9.15 a.m. or Glendalough (upper car park) 9.45 a.m. As usual, please remember to wear proper walking boots, pack full rain gear and bring adequate food and drink.

Car and tractor run
The Gap Vintage club are holding their annual car and tractor run on Sunday, March 24, in aid of Talk to Tom. Meeting at the Gap pub Ballythomas for registration between 11.30-12.00, run starts at 12.30, no registration fee, donation on the day. Soup and sandwiches served on return, spot prizes on the day.
CHAIR YOGA - eight classes from Tuesday, March 26, in Carnew Community Care, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. This is a gentle exercise class for seniors aiming to improve flexibility, strength and mobility. Chair yoga can also help promote balance, co-ordination and improve overall health and well-being. €8 per class or €60 for eight.
GENTLE YOGA CLASS - eight classes from Tuesday, March 26, in Carnew Community Care, 11.15 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. This class comprises of gentle yoga stretching movements synchronised with the breath which promotes mindful awareness and reduces stress. The pace is gentle and postures are modified. Gentle yoga increases flexibility and strengthens muscles and bones while improving posture. €8 per class.

St Patrick's Day parade
The March 17 will see Coolgreany 11th St Patrick's Day parade take to the street. The parade will start at 12.30 and entrants are asked to meet in the Lower Street, Coolgreany from midnight the early start is as usual to accommodate other local parade timetables.
Every year so far has been a great success and a fun day for all. We hope that local business people, voluntary organisations and clubs will go all out again this year to continue that success.
There are six categories this year: best float. best vintage display. best vintage vehicle. best marching entry, most original. best children's entry and best overall. We hope everyone will come out and support us on the big day. All enquiries to Jack at 086 8517618.
45 Card Drive
A very successful 45 Card Drive is ongoing in the Coolgreany Inn on each Friday night at 8.30 p.m., everyone is very welcome to come along for a good night of craic at the cards, and some lovely finger food thrown in for good measure. So please join us if you enjoy a game of 45.

The parents' association of St Patrick's NS, Bearna Chlé are delighted to inform the community that a Defibrillator has recently been installed on the school grounds. It is located outside the front door of the school therefore it is always accessible to the local community.

Clara Ladies will be holding a fundraiser in Lynams Hotel Laragh on March 15. Kick off the St Patrick's weekend with live music by Contraband (formally Beatclub) Doors open 8.30 p.m. Entrance €5, this is an over-18s event.
