There was a great turnout at Sharpeshill on Sunday for the annual All About Animals day organised by Wicklow SPCA.

Glorious sunshine ensured that everyone was in good spirits and the entire place was a hive of activity throughout the day.

In addition to the WSPCA tent and volunteers there were 27 other information stalls. These were: Citizen Canine Ireland, Garda Dog Unit, Irish Therapy Dogs, Revenue Commissioners Detector Dogs, Civil Defence, Garda Mounted Unit, Seal Rescue Ireland, Shanaclune Equine Dentistry, Donkey Sanctuary, Smiths Flowers, Black Sheep Crafts, Leslie McGill Umbrellas and Bags, Ben Harden - Beekeeping, Wicklow Feral Cats, National Parks and Wildlife Service, Dogs Trust, Forever Animal Care, Golden Eagle Trust, Emerald Pooch Mobile Dog Grooming, Wildlife Rehabilitation Ireland, Therapeutic Riding School Healing Hands, Irish Horse Welfare Trust, Avondale Veterinary, WaggyMamas Agility, Earth 2 Heaven, Blue Cross, Teach my Dog and banana treats were sponsored by Fyffes.

Organisers said they were delighted with the success of the day saying they had received great feedback from all those in attendance who had been delighted to see all the animals.
