Cafe wins top award
Grangecon Café has well and truly placed itself on the national map after winning the Bord Bia Just Ask Restaurant of the Month.
Grangecon Café's owners, Richard and Jenny Street, place great pride in sourcing their ingredients from Ireland, especially the local Leinster area.
Castleruddery Organic Farm supplies the café with all of their seasonal vegetables. John Crimmin provides locally produced lamb which Richard and Jean use in their renowned Shepherd's Pie. Doyle's family farm in Dunlavin provides them with corned beef, rib and oxtail, while Crowe Farm provides the dry cured bacon and free range sausage meat used for their popular traditional style sausage rolls.
