A newly-launched promotional video showcasing Arklow's business and tourism potential must be used into the future, Arklow Municipal District members have agreed.
Following the launch of 'Making a Difference' film, members were pleased to learn that it clocked up in excess of 10,000 views in the first week and was very well received by the public.
Cathaoirleach of Arklow Municipal District, Pat Kennedy said that it should be used into the future to help with the promotion of the district to investors.
'This video showcases the very best that the Arklow Municipal District has to offer: our infrastructure, our amenities and our people. It shows that we are open for business. We have all the necessary infrastructures needed to nurture economic development and incentivise job creation. Our location is a commodity that many other districts and counties would love to possess,' he said.
The video was produced by Paul Carney (PC Productions) with the funding came from the Arklow Municipal District Economic Development Funding and the County Wicklow Economic Think Tank.
The four-and-a-half-minute long video covers the Arklow Municipal District and features contributions from local representatives, business figures and others as well as aerial shots of the locality.
