Roundwood Variety Group pulled out all the stops for their Panto production of 'Robin Hood, which was held in the Brockagh Resource Centre over the weekend.

Night time performances took place on Friday and Saturday, with matinee productions taking place on the Saturday and Sunday.

Audience members took great delight in following the exploits of Robin and his band of Merry Men and their efforts to protect the people of Nottingham from the evil antics of The Sheriff and his dastardly accomplices

The large cast included 50 plus school children, 23 main characters around 15 teen cast members. They range in age from eight years upwards.

Among the talented actors were Conor Power as Robin Hood, Saibhe Smith as Maid Marian, Ciara Dunne as Little John, Denis Healy as The Evil Sheriff, and his counterpart Ciara Conalty as Mumsie, Brian Higgins as King Richard and Charlie Kelly as spoilt Prince John.

The four shows proved to be both a feast for the eyes and ears, with the cast receiving standing ovations for all four productions.
