Spooky goings-on in Wicklow town
Goblins, witches, ghouls and zombies all had a 'Spooktacular' time as they descended on De La Salle Pastoral Centre after 10 a.m. mass on Sunday.
The Hallowe'en party was organised by the Wicklow RNLI Fundraising Branch, with none other than station mascot Stormy Stan in attendance and passing on the RNLI safety message.
Prizes were presented for the best fancy dress, which proved a particularly difficult decision for the judges to make given the high standard of costumes on show.
Adults also got in on the fun by donning their own frightening looking outfits.
Volunteer members of the RNLI crew were on hand to lend their support to the event, resplendent in their brightly-coloured work clothes.
Fr Donal Roche was present, and at one stage decided to try on one of the RNLI crew outfits.
The next major fundraiser for Wicklow RNLI will be the annual Wicklow and District Lions Club table quiz taking place on Wednesday, November 6, from 8.30 p.m. in Phil Healy's located in Wicklow town.
The cost is €40 per table. A raffle will also be held on the night.
