Sean Keane to play Arklow's Asgard

Singer and multi-instrumentalist Seán Keane will perform as part of his current tour at the Asgard Theatre, Lower Main Street, Arklow on Saturday, August 17.

Seán's unique style encompasses traditional Irish, folk and country and blues songs.

Raised in a family of singers and musicians in County Galway, Seán learned the sean nós style of singing from his mother and his aunts. He is a highly acclaimed performer who regularly tours Ireland and internationally with his band in countries including Austria, Canada and the United States.

Accompanying Seán on this tour are Pat Coyne on guitar and Fergus Feely on mandocello. They are expected to perform many of Seán's classics like Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears, Galway To Graceland, and Fields of Gold. He will also sing some of the newer songs from the Gratitude album, recorded in 2018 alongside the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
