Classical concert to take place in Calgary
Musici Ireland will be the next concert as part of the Music in Calary series to take place in Calary Church.
Lance Coburn (piano) Miriam Roycroft (cello) and Beth McNinch (viola) will perform Beethoven's 'Eyeglass' Duo, Liszt's Mephisto Waltz, Schumann's Marchenbilder, Suite Popular Espanola by Falla and Brahms' Trio in A minor Op 114.
Musici Ireland will already be familiar with Wicklow audiences and have played in Calary Church on a number of prior occasions.
The concert in Calary Church takes place on Friday, June 21, starting at 8 p.m.
Musici Ireland was established in 2012 by violinist Beth McNinch. She plays on a cut down Viol by Barak Norman, dating back to the1650s. The instrument was made into a viola by Matthew Hardie in 1818.
Miriam Roycroft plays on a modern American cello by Grubaugh and Seifert which she commissioned in 2004.
Pianist Lance Coburn was born in New Zealand and graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music with the school's highest honours and is a piano lecturer in the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin.
