The Unity Gospel Choir helped raise funds for Wicklow Dementia Support with a special concert held in Tinakilly Country House Hotel.

The choir is based in Nun's Cross in Ashford and consists of a collection of all faiths coming together to sing praise.

Guests at Tinakilly were treated to an evening of exquisite music as a large crowd turned up on the night to enjoy the beautiful harmonies on display for all to hear.

A lovely calendar with original art work by members of the St Kevin's Studio Art Group was also available to purchase for €10. All monies raised went toward Wicklow Dementia Support Group.

Ivan Sheane, PRO for the Unity Gospel Choir, said: 'It was a great night and very well supported. Generally we play contemporary music in gospel style. We play a fair bit of music written by the choir director which is original material, and then we mix that with versions of some popular songs'.
