An Tóchar GAA Club's annual dinner dance was a sold-out affair, with all 150 tickets snapped up before proceedings took place in the Glenview Hotel on Saturday night.

Classic Hits radio presenter, freelance television presenter on both TV3 and Setanta Sports and Roundwood resident Jim McCabe was the MC for the night and kept everyone suitably entertained.

An Tóchar chairman Noel Brady welcomed everyone to the dinner dance and thanked all in attendance for their continued support.

Presentations were made to the ladies' team who won Division 3 and the men's side who won the Junior A Championships.

Wicklow GAA chairman Martin Fitzgerald made both presentations.

The undoubted highlight of the night was the presentation of awards to Ann and Alec Wolohan and Tom and Monica Brady in recognition of their long-standing support of An Tóchar. It clearly meant a lot to both couples as they received a standing ovation from all as they headed up to collect their well-deserved awards.

A number of more humorous awards were also handed out on what proved to be a most memorable night, which continued into the small hours of the morning.
