Permission is being sought to construct 17 dwellings at Ballygannon in Rathdrum.
The planning application was lodged with Wicklow County Council on April 29 and a decision is due on July 4 of this year.
The 17 dwellings will consist of 12 two storey semi-detached, four two storey terraced and one single storey dwelling served by existing road network, with connection to services, boundaries and boundary treatments, attenuation system, and associated works.
The proposed development is located adjacent to an existing small development of dwellings at Stewarts Hall and is intrinsically linked by the existing entrance road to the west of the site which serves Stewarts Hall. The site is also opposite the Ballygannon housing and Hawthorn Drive estates.
The public open space is existing and overlooked by dwellings within the estate, which should provide a safe and secure environment for all residents of the development.
